Part 1
Even when your appetite is lower and your portions are smaller, the pull towards food can still show up. Not because your body needs it, but because of how you're feeling. Module 7 is all about stress eating and what you can do about it.
In this first video, Elizabeth explores emotional eating, why stress is such a powerful trigger, and how poor sleep can worsen cravings. She also shares some simple reset strategies to try when your feelings drive the urge to eat, along with three small actions to help you shift the pattern.
Part 2
Behind every food pattern, there are thoughts and feelings that shape how you handle life's ups and downs. This part of the module looks at 3 foundations that can shift those patterns: your identity, your values, and the way you comfort yourself.
In the next part, Elizabeth looks at how the story you tell yourself about who you are can influence your eating habits, and how gently rewriting that story can open up new choices. She also looks at how connecting with your values and building a wider menu of non-food comforts can help you care for yourself in more meaningful ways.
