Peel the carrots, and chop them into small cubes - This will make them easier to blend!
Peel the cucumber, again, chop this into small cubes to make it easier to blend.
Removing the core of the apple avoids any pips from getting into the smoothie, it also ensures that you only get the soft bits of the apple.
Apart from the ice, you should now add all of your ingredients into the blender, and blend until the mix turns to a smooth liquid.
